About Sega 32X

The Sega 32X (1994) was an add-on designed to extend the aging Genesis hardware's life ahead of the Saturn's launch, but it confused the market by competing with Sega's own next-generation console for developer support. Its short, roughly one-year commercial life resulted in a small game library, making complete 32X titles a compact but genuinely scarce niche for Genesis-era collectors.

Gamevaro tracks DarXide for Sega 32X with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
