The player with the fastest selected combat card attacks first, in case of a tie, the defender attacks first.

If the player's HP is reduced to zero or is lower than the opponent's HP, they lose the battle.

Sometimes, one of the players are chosen as "Lucky" by the game.

If a player is Lucky, their character's special ability is unlocked.

Some characters have abilities that help during combat while others have abilities pertaining to the board.
