About this game

Godzilla: Battle Legends (simply referred to as "Godzilla" in North America) is a fighting game based on the Godzilla film franchise, made for the Turbo Duo in 1993, developed by Alfa System and published in the United States by Hudson Soft.

When Godzilla fights a certain foe, his appearance changes to reflect the era when he battled in certain films.

For example, Godzilla looks like as he did in 1955 when he fights Anguirus, and as in 1964 when he fights Rodan.

This game's sequel, Godzilla: Monster War for the SNES, features fewer monsters, with the inclusion of Biollante as a playable character and Mothra.

In single player mode, only Godzilla is playable.

About TurboGrafx CD

The TurboGrafx-CD (1989) was one of the earliest CD-ROM add-ons for a home console, expanding the TurboGrafx-16's library with games too large for cartridges. Its already-niche parent platform combined with the added cost of the CD add-on kept the North American audience small, making complete TurboGrafx-CD sets a genuinely rare find for collectors today.

Gamevaro tracks Godzilla: Battle Legends for TurboGrafx CD with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
