Front Mission

Front Mission is the first main entry and the first entry overall in the Front Mission series.

Front Mission is part of a serialized storyline that follows the stories of various characters and their struggles involving mecha known as wanzers.

The WonderSwan Color (2000) added — as the name suggests — a color screen to Bandai's Japan-only handheld line, while remaining backward compatible with original WonderSwan cartridges. Like its predecessor, it never released outside Japan, so collecting is strictly an import hobby, with several well-regarded RPGs and puzzle titles standing out as the platform's most sought-after games.

Gamevaro tracks Front Mission for WonderSwan Color with separate market values for loose, complete-in-box (CIB) and factory-sealed copies, sourced from real eBay sales. Prices also vary by region — PAL, NTSC-U and NTSC-J releases of the same game often sell for different amounts due to print run sizes and regional collector demand.
